80th Independence day celebration- 2026

Marialaya celebrated India’s Independence Day with patriotic spirit and active participation across its shelter home, community outreach centres and Women’s Self-Help Groups. Children, women and community members came together to honour the nation and remember the sacrifices of our freedom fighters. The celebrations featured flag hoisting, the National Anthem, cultural performances and inspiring messages on patriotism, unity, education, women’s empowerment and social responsibility. The children were encouraged to grow into responsible citizens, while women reflected on their strength and contributions to society. The programmes also highlighted the importance of freedom, equality, safety and dignity for all. Through these joyful celebrations, Marialaya strengthened the spirit of national pride, community unity and collective responsibility, inspiring everyone to contribute towards a more inclusive and harmonious society.
