Children’s Parliament

A Children’s Parliament program was organized with 16 children from the community. The session aimed to introduce children to democratic processes and community responsibilities. Mrs. Ambiga explained the roles and responsibilities of ministers in various committees, including the Food Committee, Education Committee, Environment Committee, and Health and Hygiene Committee. She guided the children on how to observe, identify, and address issues in their community. The children actively participated in discussions, shared their ideas, and expressed interest in contributing to community improvement. They collectively decided to identify the problems within their locality and work together to propose practical solutions to avoid plastics. The program successfully encouraged leadership, teamwork, and social responsibility among the participants.
