FORMAL EDUCATION CENTER
Maraialaya rendered Formal Education Centers i.e. evening tution centers/class for the school going children at covered area. Centers are functioned by Marialaya at various parts of chenai city, through different projects for the vulnerable and marginalized section of the society. More than 1500 children are supported, through the evening tuition class. In this evening tuition center, every child is given special attention.Apart from focusing on the importance of education, we do give awareness on various child related issue.
NON FORMAL EDUCATION CENTER
The Children of migrants, women in prostitution, alcoholics. Drug peddlers and other anti social elements form part and parcel of our street children programme that comes under the category of children in need of care and protection. These children are placed in our Non formal centers and helped to study. The aim of the project is to mainstream education system by mainstreaming the drop out children through Non formal education. We provide the children with Bridge course, vocational training and Supplementary nutrition etc. We do have well trained and experienced staff / teacher & supervisor to monitor the child involvement towards education and overall growth.
